Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
An Act to make further provision for securing the health, safety and welfare of persons at work, for protecting others against risks to health or safety in connection with the activities of persons at work, for controlling the keeping and use and preventing the unlawful acquisition, possession and use of dangerous substances, and for controlling certain emissions into the atmosphere; to make further provision with respect to the employment medical advisory service; to amend the law relating to building regulations, and the Building (Scotland) Act 1959; and for connected purposes
When looking at the health and safety at work act i realised i needed to provide and maintain a safe environment with safe working equipment. Ensure there is safe storage, handling and transportation due to using a moving car is our teaser film trailer. Also make sure there are adequate facilities for us all to use for example female and male toilets.
I also looked at this website to research the health and safety act.
The first thing the audience See's in the film teaser trailer is who the film is produced by letting the audience know what other films this producer has made and how well rated they are. Giving them an idea how good this film will be. The font is in a metallic silver on a black background making the text clear and giving it an edgy effect. A close up of an object spinning then appears intriguing the audience to whats going to happen. In the same font as before showing consistence and were also told a film produced by the producer for people that didn't already know. The audience then see a birds eye view of an urban city showing the location of the film. A mid shot shows us a facial expression of what could be a main character he looks shocked and worried telling the audience something has happened. A women is then seen to be dragged away by two men this could be what the mans facial expression was responding to. This then fades to black and an actors name appears he is well known and if the audience like this actor it may make them go and see the film. Another close up of an object is used however this time the audience get an idea that there is unnatural goings on as the water in the glass tilts to one side without any human involvement. Text then appears saying 'your mind' then it cuts to the main character and then the rest of the slogan appears saying 'is the scene of the crime' this gives the audience more idea about what the film is about but not giving away too much. We then get a few fast tempo cuts showing scenes from the film these include, a room spinning with two people inside it, A man covered in water and a man looking shocked on a train. Finally we are shown a cartooned landscape of the city this then turns into the title of the film which is clever and interesting. When the film is released then appears in the same font, a silver colour. At the end the audience are quickly shown the names of the people who work behind thew scenes. Throughout the trailer non diegetic sound is played which is uneasy on the ear in a minor key with drums and this sound builds up and up until the title of the film is revealed this sets tension for the audience.
