Questionniare Results

In order to make my questionnaire as fair as possible i tried to get an equal amount of females and males answering the questions. The age groups were mainly 14-29 as this is my target audience and therefore i would want to know their opinions on teaser trailers, film posters and front covers to film magazines. The cinema was the mos preferred place to watch a film however when questioned how often people visited the cinema monthly it was only once that came out the most popular answer, this shows in the 21st century people have less money to afford to go to the cinema to watch a film and would be more efficient to just buy it and watch it when you can as many times as you would like, the average amount of films watched in a month were 1-5. I asked which type of cross media advertising would attract them the most and the majority said a teaser trailer this means i will be focusing on this mainly making sure i show vital information in it as well as the film poster and film magazine front cover. People relied on film reviews the most before watching a film to know if it would be worth watching or not, therefore i could include a quote from a review to attract my audience this could be done on the front cover of my film magazine as the majority of people i asked did read film magazines. The preferred length of a teaser film trailer was 21-30 seconds however i may increase this by 5 or 10 seconds in order to include edits with text on at the end. To show a lot in my teaser film trailer fast cuts can be used to keep the audience on the edge of their seat. Horror and Thriller were the most popular genres when asked therefore i am doing a thriller genre making the success of the film more likely. Throughout my cross media campaign for my film i will be including information about the release date, title and characters starring in the film as this was the vital information people wanted to know about before seeing a film.
